Give your coaching a CLEAN sweep this year

The beginning of the New Year is the perfect time to give your coaching a CLEAN sweep.

If there’s one approach that helps you make a clear and meaningful connection to your clients’ inner thinking, motivations, and metaphors, it’s Clean Language.

I was introduced to Clean Language almost a decade ago, and yet I find myself reaching for it in my coaching practice more often than any other tool. And I’m not alone. MCCs and PCCs repeatedly tell me the same thing. As Judy Rees, Clean Language expert, author, and trainer, explains:

“Clean Language should be your go-to when you want to support a person to explore their own thoughts, their own motivations, their own metaphors: to make your person-centred practice truly person-centred.”

And Judy’s absolutely right. Clean Language is all about helping clients uncover their own solutions—without interference, assumptions, or bias. It uses precise questioning techniques to create an open, non-directive space where your clients can truly explore and gain clarity.

But Clean Language isn’t just theoretical. It’s a practical, results-driven method that complements any coaching model you already use. Whether you’re helping clients set goals, address barriers, or unlock creativity, Clean Language helps you cut through the noise and make a real impact.

Since 2017, ReciproCoach has teamed up with Judy Rees to bring coaches like you the Clean Language Training Round—and this will be the eighth time we’re running it. Coaches around the world have joined this unique program, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, as you’ll see here from our years of past participants.

Here’s what the Clean Language Training Round includes:

  • Six 30-minute video lessons from Judy’s Clean Language Essentials For Coaches course (on demand, so you can watch anytime).
  • Six peer coaching sessions—you’ll apply and experience the learning as both a coach and client with two different partners for a total of 12 sessions.
  • Structured debriefing after each session peer coaching session to help you anchor and deepen your learning.

By the end of the training, you’ll have added six specific Clean Language techniques to your coaching toolkit, empowering you to use them alongside your existing coaching models and approaches.

👉 Find out more about the Clean Language Training Round here. Registrations Close Sunday, February 23.

If you already know this essential skill belongs in your coaching toolkit, you can register now and join us for this transformative program.

Additional Opportunities

Past participants can join our Clean Language Practice Roundto reinvigorate your use of the Clean Language skills in your coaching practice. All participants and Clean Language enthusiasts can also sign up for our Clean Language Group Mentoring Session with Judy Rees (available for separate registration here), where you’ll receive expert feedback on your Clean Language application and/or discuss feedback provided to others. If you’re not able to attend the live session, then register for the observer session to get access to the session recording.

I think Clean Language should be part of basic coach training. If Clean Language techniques are not integral in your sessions now, make 2025 the year you add this transformative technique to your coaching toolbox and draw upon it regularly to create deeper client impact, clearer insights, and better outcomes.

Supporting you in giving your coaching a CLEAN sweep this year,
