Did you begin with the end in mind?

Posted on: 07 Feb 2019

“Begin with the end in mind” is habit #2 of Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. We apply this principle in coaching, yet it’s surprising just how many coaches fail to apply this principle in their coaching business.

If this is you, whether you are just starting out, or years in but still haven’t got around to clarifying what you really want for your coaching business, then you’ll do well to participate in our Design Your Coaching Practice business peer coaching round. This round will give you access to chapter two of The Professional Coach’s Business Systems (PCBS), a resource written by Belinda MacInnes, MCC, who experienced success faster than most coaches, sustained it for more than a decade and lives the life she’d intended for herself when she first made the move to coaching. Belinda now says:

“I’ve seen too many good coaches fail at running a successful and sustainable coaching practice, and to be perfectly honest, I’m sick of it!”

The Design Your Coaching Practice peer coaching round will guide you to fully explore the critical question of what you want from your coaching business.  Too often overlooked and underrated, Design Your Coaching Practice really sets the foundations for a successful and sustainable coaching practice.

Many people know or learn what they need to do, but still fail to actually do it. ReciproCoach business coaching rounds aim to ensure you do what is necessary to get your business to where you want it to be. This happens thanks to the double accountability between both you and your peer coach and your peer client. Even if you manage to side step your assigned coach (which in effect is side stepping yourself), few people can coach someone on something they need to do themselves without actually ending up doing it too!

The Design Your Coaching Practice  peer coaching round closes for registration on Sunday February 24. Follow this link to register now:

If you’ve designed your coaching practice, but need to work on other areas of your business, then you may be interested in our general business coaching rounds which start at the same time. ReciproCoach Business Coaching rounds support you in ensuring you have the business skills and practices you need to survive and thrive as a professional coach.
