What happens when there’s a shift in the coaching room?
“The happening of the ‘shift in the room’” is “characterised by a moment of silence, a moment in which clients seem to withdraw within themselves” as “the unconscious drops the solution in the conscious mind” and a new map is created within the brain. Thus, coaches’ ability to know when and how to keep the silence appeared to be “a vital strategy to allow for breakthrough moments as it allows clients to do the needed inner work”.
